Hi,

Well I guess this is where you learn a little about me!
I was born in Derby in 19somethingorother and therefore I am still only 24 years old!
Schooled in the area, I failed my 11+ exams and joined the Army serving with the Worcester & Sherwood Foresters for 12 years. On leaving,I qualified as a financial advisor, didn't t feel it was for me, got a job as a roofer but eventually settled down in the water industry where I remained for around 15 years.
Having travelled extensively around the UK,  I finally decided it was time to head back to Derby and a career change. I took over two pubs for a while, until ill health forced me to quit. On recovering in 2002, I moved to Lanzarote.
Initially, I was involved in a couple of Karaoke bars with some friends but as I felt I was missing out on my potential, I looked for a more challenging role in holiday entertainment. This led me to the door of a local radio station and eventually my own show with a daytime slot. My nightime events, however, set me up for the next phase in my entertainment career.
Initialy, I started to 'fill in' for stage acts whilst they took a break during their show. I sang Soul. I loved it. The audience loved it.
On the 1st of June 2006 I hosted my own show featuring some of the greatest soul songs ever written. I haven't looked back.
Since then I have flown to the UK on request to host a number of venues and performed at an event in Florida in the March of 2008.
